Murray Seeded Second for Wimbledon

Wimbeldon Tennis

British hope Andy Murray has been seeded second in the men’s singles at Wimbledon, while fellow star Johanna Konta has been seeded 17th in the women’s competition.

Murray, the 2013 champion, has geared up for tennis’ greatest event, that starts on Monday, by winning at Queens, while Konta will be looking to build in a career best semi-final appearance at the Australian Open.

Murray, beaten by Novak Djokovic in two Grand Slam finals this season, would not meet the Serb until the final as they are in opposite sides of the draw.
