At Chase Bridge during the QBE Internationals we were delighted to welcome some of the biggest names in English rugby to entertain our guests and were delighted they all managed to perform so well for their Clubs following the international series.

England scrum-half Danny Care, who was a guest before the final game of the autumn against Australia, returned to club colours with Harlequins and landed a late drop goal to help Quins to a 24-18 victory over Leinster.

And he wasn’t the only Chase Bridge celebrity to get on the score sheet. Ben Foden, who was one of the stars at Chase Bridge for the games against the All Blacks and Springboks, scored a try in Northampton’s commanding victory over Treviso.

Scrum-half Richard Wigglesworth returned to his old club Sale with Saracens and got one over his former team-mate Mark Cueto to help Sarries to a 19-15 victory – which will give them both something to talk about at Chase Bridge some time soon.

England notched up a convincing win over Australia to end the QBE Internationals series on a high and look forward now to Europe’s top Rugby competition.

England are currently favourites to win the Six Nations in 2015, after they finished runners up for a second year running in 2014, but defending champions Ireland, along with France and Wales are also well fancied.

Mike Burton’s ticket-inclusive hospitality packages for the 2015 RBS Six Nations Championship packages are on sale now. Come and join the legends.
