The Mike Burton company has been an Official Licensed Operator at Twickenham since the inception of the programme in 2003 and operates the market-leading official Chase Bridge Hospitality Village
In the summer the focus turns to the annual Wimbledon Championships where Mike Burton’s top-level service at The Wimbledon Club is unrivalled. The name says it all: style, class and a refined dining and entertaining experience that is second to none.
Mike Burton’s travel business delivers to similar levels of expectation and has ABTA, IATA and ATOL licenses. With these licenses the business has constantly delivered leading prestigious sporting contracts for events including the RBS 6 Nations, QBE Internationals, the British & Irish Lions and Rugby World Cups.
This is all coupled with a number of specialist joint ventures, including England Rugby’s official travel company - England Rugby Travel (a joint venture with the Rugby Football Union) and the British & Irish Lions’ official travel company - Lions Rugby Travel (a joint venture with British Lions Limited).
As well as these two specialist sports travel joint venture companies, the business also has a joint venture with Sodexo – Rugby Travel & Hospitality - which operates the official global hospitality and travel programme for Rugby World Cup 2015, having successfully delivered the same programme at the last two Rugby World Cups.
